New Document on the Eucharist due March 13th

A big day is approaching for many of us. According to the Vatican, Sacramentum Caritatis, the apostolic exhortation on the Eucharist will be released on Tuesday, March 13th 2007. This document will be a summary of the recommendations of the synod of bishops that met in October of 2005 on the topic of the “Eucharist: Living Bread for Peace in the World”

The list of recommendations from the synod was uncharacteristically made public. There were 50 recommendations made, which can be found here:

This will provide an interesting study of how Pope Benedict XVI creates the exhortation from the 50 recommendations. This should be a great document to supplement our understanding of the Eucharist and the wonderful graces that flow from it!
